Wellstar Health System is seeking an experienced registered nurse to coordinate procedural and surgical case placement and admissions to support timely bed availability. You will work with care teams, bed managers, and leadership to optimize patient flow across departments.

The role requires hospital nursing experience, active RN licensure, and BLS certification. Epic and 3M experience is preferred, with a focus on accurate, patient-centered care and interdepartmental collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing or BSN preferred.
• RN license required upon hire; multi-state compact license ok.
• BLS certification required; hospital nursing experience preferred.
• Epic and 3M experience is preferred, not required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate procedural and surgical cases for bed placement and patient flow.
• Coordinate admissions and hospital transfers (direct, ED, interfacility).
• Manage unit-to-unit transfers to optimize bed availability and census.
• Daily communication with bed meeting and census data to inform planning.
• Communicate effectively with leadership and care teams during emergent or routine situations.
