Wellstar Health System is seeking an experienced registered nurse to coordinate procedural and surgical cases, admissions, and bed placement across the hospital. You will work with the bed meeting team to manage census and ensure timely patient flow with clinical judgement.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma in nursing; BSN preferred.
• RN licensure in Georgia or Multi-state Compact (e.g., compact license).
• Minimum 2 years hospital nursing experience; Epic and 3M experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all procedural and surgical cases for bed placement and admissions.
• Coordinate admissions from ED and inter-hospital transfers.
• Coordinate unit-to-unit transfers to open beds as needed.
• Daily communication with bed meeting members about census and bed needs.
• Use clinical knowledge to determine correct placement for the right patient at the right time.
