Job summary

UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital in Central Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care. Under direction of the Director or Charge Nurse, you will perform assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with physicians and the health care team to promote exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring progress, documenting in EMR, and mentoring junior staff while supporting quality initiatives and patient

Qualifications

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• English reading, writing, speaking is required.
• ADN is required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in accordance with policies and best practices.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies accurately and safely.
• Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.
