You will communicate patient status, support safe medication administration, and contribute to continuous care from admission to discharge. The position requires an NJ RN license and BLS/CPR; BSN is preferred or must be pursued within 3 years.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification.
• BSN strongly preferred or must obtain within 3 years.
• Six months of nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, and focus on teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing care per evidence-based policies and standards.
• Ongoing communication with patients and health care team about status and plans.
• Ensure patient and family-centered care and satisfaction.
• Medication administration using clinical documentation technology.
• Collaborate across disciplines from admission to discharge for safe care transitions.
