Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team in our New Jersey facilities.

The role emphasizes evidence-based nursing, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care, patient education, and coordination with physicians and support services.

Requirements include an associate degree or diploma in nursing (BSN preferred), an active NJ RN license, BLS/CPR, and a commitment to teamwork and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Six or more months of relevant nursing experience or Nurse Residency program.
• Ability to learn quickly, teamwork, and dedication to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate care with physicians and support services.
• Educate patients and families; document care per policy.
• Adhere to ANA code and maintain competencies and licensure.
• Lift at least 35 lbs and stand for extended periods.
