Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient assessments and plan of care.
• Oversee implementation and evaluate plan with critical thinking.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed.
• Mentor students and orient new staff.
• Participate in discharge planning and transition of care.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain professional conduct.
• Document pertinent findings in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Refer to Staff Nurse Position Description for specifics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
