Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team, delivering high-quality patient care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. You will lead and coordinate care using the nursing process, assess needs, plan interventions, and evaluate outcomes in collaboration with physicians.

The role requires NJ RN licensure, BLS; ACLS and trauma-related certifications are expected within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in NJ required.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification upon hire or transfer.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• ATCN or TNCC certification within 24 months of hire or transfer.
• PALS or ENPC certification within 12 months of hire or transfer.
• CPI certification by 10/31/25 for existing staff.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
• Utilize the nursing care process for assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Oversee coordination of the interdisciplinary plan of care in line with the medical treatment plan.
• Provide leadership and support to patient care team members.
• Administer patient care activities according to established standards and policies.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and participate in professional development.
• Maintain a safe environment and adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff and document care thoroughly.
