Job summary

AtlantiCare seeks a Registered Nurse to join the interdisciplinary team, providing inpatient, outpatient and community care in collaboration with physicians. The RN will lead assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation, ensuring care consistency with the medical treatment plan and coordinating interdisciplinary activities.

Required NJ RN licensure, BSN preferred, and certification requirements including BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey or current multi state license required.
• American Heart Association BLS required upon hire or transfer.
• ACLS within required timeframe; ER/ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Physician and interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Utilize nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Perform limited laboratory services as needed and maintain competency.
• Document actions and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
