Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. You will lead the care planning process, coordinate the interdisciplinary plan of care, and ensure alignment with the medical treatment plan while delivering culturally sensitive nursing care.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, personalized care planning, and ongoing education to empower patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey or a current multi-state license.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required upon hire.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• ATCN or TNCC certification required within 24 months of hire.
• PALS or ENPC certification attained within 12 months of hire.
• CPI certification required for existing team members by 10/31/25, and new team members have 1 year from the hire date.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and cultural aspects to identify patient needs.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans, setting goals and providing education.
• Oversee coordination of the interdisciplinary plan of care with the medical treatment plan.
• Monitor and evaluate intervention effectiveness, making adjustments as needed.
• Provide leadership and support to patient care team members.
• Ensure adherence to standards, guidelines, and organizational policies.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives for quality enhancement.
• Maintain professional growth through ongoing education and training.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
• Promote a patient-centered environment throughout care delivery.
