Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process and interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Coordinate involvement of patient, family, and health team members in care and discharge planning.
• Communicate the plan of care to nurses and other health team members; participate in performance improvement.
• Provide input to unit leadership and participate in committees and quality improvement activities.
