Mary Washington Healthcare in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a Level II Registered Nurse to collaborate with the care team and provide patient-centered nursing using evidence-based practice. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within the nursing process and work with interdisciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes participation in quality improvement, staff orientation, policy development, and maintaining a safe, productive clinical environment for patients and staff.

Formación

• Virginia RN license or equivalent compact state required.
• BSN preferred; willing to obtain BSN within five years.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR certification required.
• Additional certifications as per unit.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process and team collaboration.
• Coordinate patient/family teaching and discharge planning.
• Communicate care plans with health team members and others.
• Assist leadership to define standards of care and participate in improvement.
• Participate in orientation and unit/department meetings.
