Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a full-time RN to perform telephone triage and assess patient needs across a diverse population. You will collaborate with physicians, managed care, and care teams to deliver timely clinical solutions in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree and an active RN license; BSN is preferred. Epic/Microsoft knowledge and strong communication skills are valued, with a schedule Mon-Fri 7:30am-5:30pm and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license in applicable state.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs telephone triage with diverse patient population.
• Assesses needed care and collaborates with patients to provide clinical solutions.
• Provides comprehensive nursing assessment in an untraditional nursing environment.
• Participates in team conferences and helps assess patient education needs.
• Notifies practices/physicians/managed care of encounters as required.
• Notifies leadership of operational concerns.
