Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse in the Charlotte area to join the Patient Access & Care Team: NC/GA Nursing. The role requires BSN and 5 years RN experience, with 12-hour weekend shifts and a 50-mile residency radius around the call center (Mint Hill or Winston-Salem).

Competitive pay with weekend scheduling and strong emphasis on patient safety and high‑quality care. Requires RN licensure, BLS, and the ability to float to other units as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with privileges to practice where services are provided.
• BLS certification required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage in councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adapt care plans as needed.
• Maintain safety culture and timely EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and treatments per protocols.
• Communicate effectively and delegate appropriately.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and maintain certifications.
