Job summary

Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a skilled RN to join the call-center triage team. You will perform telephone triage, assess care needs, and collaborate with patients and care teams to deliver timely clinical solutions.

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with BSN preferred; current RN license in the applicable state is required. SC licensure may be needed for SC clients; BLS is required. Experience in pediatric/ED triage is desirable.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the applicable state required.
• Must apply for/maintain SC RN license for new clients in SC.
• Experience in telephone triage, pediatrics and ED triage is desired.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs telephone triage with diverse patient population.
• Assesses needed care and collaborates with patients and others to provide clinical solutions.
• Provides comprehensive nursing assessment in an untraditional nursing environment.
• Actively participates in team conferences and helps assess patient education needs.
• Notifies practices, physicians and/or managed care clients of all encounters before office opening.
• Notifies designated leadership of operational concerns.
