Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Pinecroft is seeking a RN PACU to provide high-quality care for patients emerging from anesthesia. The role involves continual patient assessment, safety, and privacy, with potential duties in procedure rooms under supervision.

Weekdays only—no holidays, weekends, or on-call requirements. Some early mornings and later evenings may be needed based on surgical flow. Five-day typical work window may apply pending schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient needs.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients in PACU with continual evaluation of condition.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks, conscious sedation, and sterile techniques as needed.
• Provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from anesthesia and/or sedation; assess, plan, implement and evaluate for discharge.

Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Pinecroft is hiring a PRN RN PACU

Welcome to Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Pinecroft
We have 6 OR rooms and 2 treatment rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in General, GI, ENT, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Spine, Urology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.

PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN) at Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Pinecroft
The PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge
