Job summary

Memorial Hermann Endoscopy Cypress is seeking a RN PACU to deliver continuous, high-quality nursing care for patients emerging from anesthesia in our outpatient GI setting. You will monitor patient conditions, ensure safety and comfort, and support the care team in a fast-paced PACU environment.

The facility has 1 OR and 3 procedure rooms, performing outpatient GI procedures. The role requires weekdays only—no holidays, weekends, or call—with potential early mornings or late evenings depending

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years' experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients in PACU.
• Continuously evaluate patient condition and ensure safety and comfort.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks and sterile techniques.
• Provide total care to patients emerging from anesthesia or sedation and plan for discharge.

Memorial Hermann Endoscopy Cypress is hiring a RN PACU

Welcome to Memorial Hermann Endoscopy Cypress

We have 1 OR rooms and 3 Procedure room. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.

PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN) at Memorial Hermann Endoscopy Cypress

The PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge

Qualifications
