Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited BSN program.
• Current NC RN license and BLS certification required.
• Two or more years of OR experience preferred.
• Surgeon clinic or paranesthesia experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OR scheduling and perioperative processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily OR scheduling with the perioperative team.
• Collaborate with surgeon offices and nurse leaders to optimize the OR schedule for efficient patient flow.
• Lead scheduling meetings with stakeholders to ensure operational excellence.
• Analyze schedules and run reports to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Orient new hires to the department and provide ongoing staff development.
• Ensure patient safety using nursing judgment and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory requirements.
