Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN program.
• Current North Carolina RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Previous OR experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork and nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily OR scheduling with the perioperative team.
• Analyze schedule to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Verify elements in case requests and surgeon privileging.
• Lead scheduling meetings with stakeholders.
• Onboard new hires to the department.
• Run reports and perform data analysis to improve schedule execution.
• Maintain patient safety through nursing judgment.
• Participate in professional development and quality initiatives.
