Detroit Medical Center seeks an experienced RN Manager, OR to oversee operations in the operating room and related nursing units. Reporting to Nursing leadership, you will manage staff, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and drive performance improvement and patient care outcomes on site in Detroit, MI.

The role includes budget oversight, policy implementation, hiring and evaluations, collaboration with the healthcare team, and maintaining service excellence in a busy hospital

Qualifications

• BSN required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in Michigan.
• Three years of progressive nursing experience.

Responsabilités

• Assumes management responsibility for nursing operations and patient care processes.
• Ensure regulatory requirements and standards are communicated, implemented and monitored.
• Develop, monitor and revise departmental procedures, policies and budgets as needed.
