Detroit Medical Center in Hamtramck, Michigan, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Director OR - Operating Room to lead Perioperative Services. This senior role reports to the site CNO and oversees procedures, staffing, budgeting, compliance, and policy implementation within the operating room.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Nursing or related field, with 7+ years of clinical/management experience and Michigan RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field; one degree must be in Nursing.
• Seven years of progressively responsible clinical and/or management experience.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Lead Perioperative Services programs and ensure policy compliance.
• Develop and monitor departmental budget and staffing.
• Coordinate with Joint Commission standards and audits.
• Recruit, develop and mentor nursing staff and managers.
