Job summary

Southern Health Partners (SHP) is seeking a compassionate RN or LPN to join our correctional healthcare team at Walworth County Jail in Wisconsin. This full-time role features 12-hour night shifts on a rotating schedule.

You will administer medications, perform nursing assessments, maintain timely clinical documentation, and collaborate with medical, nursing, and correctional staff to support quality patient care in a safe, structured environment. Night shift differential is available.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Wisconsin RN or LPN license or multi-state license valid in Wisconsin.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a correctional healthcare setting.
• Administer medications and treatments according to orders and protocols.
• Perform nursing assessments and monitor patients for changes in health status.
• Respond to routine and urgent medical needs within scope of practice.
• Support chronic disease management and continuity of patient care.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate patient concerns and changes in condition to the healthcare provider.
• Collaborate with nursing, medical, and correctional staff to support quality outcomes.
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and professional healthcare environment.
