Corewell Health's Oncology and Infusion Center in Greenville—part of the Grand Rapids Hospital network—is seeking an RN to deliver comprehensive nursing care within a multidisciplinary team. You will follow the nursing process and uphold ANA standards while contributing to patient and family support in a high-volume oncology setting.

The role emphasizes ethical practice, cultural competence, effective communication, and collaboration with physicians and therapists.

Qualifications

• Must have Associate's Degree in Nursing and a current RN license in Michigan upon hire.
• BSN within required timeframes for various start dates as listed in the posting.
• Competency-based orientation program completion required.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) within 90 days.
• Oncology certification (OCN) preferred; chemo/immunotherapy certs required for certain departments.

Responsabilités

• Deliver nursing care following the ANA nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation.

CHW Grand Rapids Hospitals Oncology & Hematology- Greenville offers Medical Oncology and Infusion Services. We work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated, comprehensive, and exceptional care and support to our patients and their families. Scope of Work

Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA. This includes ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Required Associate's Degree Nursing
• Required Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 5 years for those who start in this RN role on or after January 1, 2018 (Big Rapids, Reed City)
• Required Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 7 years for those who start in this RN role between April 1, 2016 and December 31, 2017 (Big Rapids, Reed City)
• Required Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 5 years for those who start in this RN role on or after May 1, 2020 (Gerber, Ludington, Pennock)
• Required Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 7 years for those who start in this RN role between January 1, 2017 and April 30, 2020 (Gerber, Ludington, Pennock)
• Required Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 5 years for those who start in this RN role on or after January 1, 2017 (Pennock)
• Required Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 7 years for those who start in this RN role between January 1, 2013 and December 31, 2016 (Zeeland)
• Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program Required
• LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
• CRT-Oncology Nursing Society - ONCC Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certificate course completion required for RNs working in departments where chemotherapy/immunotherapy is administered. Radiation Therapy certificate course is required for RNs working in radiation departments. 1 Year required
• CRT-Oncology Certified Nurse - ONCC Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation OCN Certification (or other applicable Oncology specialty/leadership certification) preferred. 1 Year preferred
