Corewell Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Oncology & Hematology-Greenville unit. You will provide direct nursing care, work with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure high-quality, patient-centered infusion services.

The role requires MI RN licensure, an associate degree with possible bachelor’s degree timelines, and oncology certification or commitment to pursue. Day shift, 36 hours per week, Greenville location, comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure in Michigan and a nursing degree.
• Multiple timelines govern degree requirements based on start date.
• Oncology/chemotherapy immunotherapy competency is required or preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification required upon hire.

CHW Grand Rapids Hospitals Oncology & Hematology- Greenville offers Medical Oncology and Infusion Services. We work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated, comprehensive, and exceptional care and support to our patients and their families. Scope of Work

Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA. This includes ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Required Associate's Degree Nursing
• Required Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 5 years for those who start in this RN role on or after January 1, 2018 (Big Rapids, Reed City)
• Required Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 7 years for those who start in this RN role between April 1, 2016 and December 31, 2017 (Big Rapids, Reed City)
• Required Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 5 years for those who start in this RN role on or after May 1, 2020 (Gerber, Ludington, Pennock)
• Required Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 7 years for those who start in this RN role between January 1, 2017 and April 30, 2020 (Gerber, Ludington, Pennock)
• Required Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 5 years for those who start in this RN role on or after January 1, 2017 (Pennock)
• Required Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 7 years for those who start in this RN role between January 1, 2013 and December 31, 2016 (Zeeland)
• Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program
• Required LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan
• Upon Hire required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required
• Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
• CRT-Oncology Nursing Society - ONCC Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certificate course completion required for RNs working in departments where chemotherapy/immunotherapy is administered. Radiation Therapy certificate course is required for RNs working in radiation departments. 1 Year required CRT-Oncology Certified Nurse - ONCC Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation OCN Certification (or other applicable Oncology specialty/leadership certification) preferred. 1 Year preferred
