Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking an Onboarding Specialist I to coordinate orientation and education in the Nursing Resource Department. The role focuses on ensuring all required orientation opportunities occur and developing education plans with unit leaders and preceptors.

Ideal candidates will have nursing experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing/Education/Healthcare, and experience in curriculum design or staff education. This is a full-time, on-site position in Missouri.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of nursing experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Education or Healthcare-related field is required.
• Experience with curriculum design or staff education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates orientation and education for new staff.
• Tracks orientation progress and schedules, coordinating with preceptors.
• Creates and updates unit learning plans and education programs.
• Conducts daily rounds to assess and address staff education needs.
• Contributes to department policy and procedure related to education.
