Job summary

Concord Hospital in Concord, NH seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) 2 to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for a diverse patient population in a safe, therapeutic environment. You will gather data, develop and revise care plans, administer medications, document progress, supervise others, and educate patients and families about the plan of care.

NH Board of Nursing licensure and BLS required; BSN preferred; at least one year of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• RN license in NH; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Gathers data through history and physical assessment to plan and implement interventions.
• Develops, evaluates and revises patient care plans in response to patient needs.
• Documents care provided and progress toward outcomes; directs others in delegated nursing activities.
• Teaches patients and families about the plan of care; prepares for discharge, transfer, or procedures.
• Manages time and resources to deliver patient care; administers medications; provides direct patient care.
• Leads the health care team; serves as resource person and preceptor for new staff.
