Job summary

Concord Hospital in New Hampshire seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a population of patients. The RN will work with a multidisciplinary team, document progress, and lead care delivery in a safe environment.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree with NH licensure and BLS certification, and at least one year of clinical nursing experience. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
• Certification, Registration & Licensure required for NH.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Gathers data through history taking and physical assessment and interprets data in order to plan and implement interventions to meet patient care needs.

• Develops, evaluates and revises patient's plan of care and nursing actions in response to patient's needs.
• Documents care provided and patient's progress toward attainment of desired outcomes.
• Directs and supervises others in the performance of delegated nursing activities.
• Teaches the patient and/or significant other(s) about the plan of care.
• Prepares patients to manage their care after discharge, transfer or preparation for procedure/test.
• Manages time and resources to deliver patient care.
• Administers medications to patients.
• Provides direct patient care.
• Leads the health care team.
• Serves as a Resource Person for assigned shift.
• Serves as a preceptor for new employees.
• Performs job specific requirements and other duties as assigned.
