Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Observation Unit-1P2 in Deer Valley, Phoenix, AZ. This day shift role involves direct patient care, accordance with ANA standards, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

Sign-on bonus up to $10K is offered. Nurses provide education, plan of care, and ongoing evaluation to support patient recovery and wellbeing within a leading nonprofit health system serving the greater Phoenix area.

Qualifications

• RN must follow ANA standards and code of ethics.
• Minimum 10 months med-surg or acute care experience.
• 1 year RN experience required for float positions.

Responsibilities

• Collect health data and develop family-centered care plans.
• Develop individualized plans of care and expected outcomes.
• Initiate treatments, meds, and IV access per policy.
• Document progress and evaluate care outcomes for quality.
• Assess practice against standards and pursue ongoing learning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for patient care.
