Job summary

Frederick Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Observation Unit, night shifts, 7p-7:30a with weekend/holiday rotation. You will perform nursing assessments, develop and implement care plans, and coordinate with the care team to ensure timely patient disposition within 24-48 hours.

Eligible Maryland RN with an Associates degree is required; BSN preferred. CPR/BLS certifications are required; part-time compensation ranges from $36.07 to $55.17 per hour, with comprehensive

Qualifications

• Eligible for or currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Maryland.
• Associates degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• CPR certification; BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, and discharge planning needs.
• Document nursing assessments and plan of care.
• Provide patient care using the nursing process with leadership and teaching duties.
• Collaborate with health care team and family to revise treatment plans.
• Promote standards of care and participate in quality improvement.
