Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join our obstetrics department for a 13-week assignment on the night shift. You will provide high-quality care to laboring women and their newborns, perform NSTs, and assist during deliveries as a second nurse.

Responsibilities include caring for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns, with collaboration across physicians and pediatrics to ensure patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license.
• NRP, STABLE, Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or above) certifications.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Labor and Delivery.

Responsibilities

• Care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers and newborns.
• Perform triage and non-stress tests (NSTs).
• Serve as second nurse at deliveries and manage overflow patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians and other staff to ensure patient-centered care.
• Support patients experiencing pregnancy, birth or recovery complications.
• Float to Med/Surg, CCU or ER as needed.
• Be on-call by OB manager up to 3 times per 13-week contract.
