Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced RN - OB GYN for a 13-week assignment in Indiana. The role demands 12-hour night shifts, active RN license, and OB-specific certifications. You will work within a perinatal unit with two nurses on duty, and weekends are required on a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities include labor/delivery/postpartum and newborn care, using Epic EMR and electronic fetal monitoring. Some floating is not expected and orientation will be provided based on experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year of OB experience required.
• Active RN license required.
• BLS (AHA), NRP, AWHONN, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications are required.

Description:The Registered Nurse will provide care to patients and their families during labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum phases of childbirth, and newborn care.The role involves utilizing Epic electronic medical records, electronic fetal monitoring, fetal warmers, and medication systems.Two nurses will be required to be present in the facility at all times, and the employee will not work alone.This position will involve filling open shifts on the schedule, and weekends are required every third Friday and Saturday, as well as a scheduled Sunday every three weeks.Floating to other units or departments is not expected for this position.The unit consists of six labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum beds and three postpartum beds.Staffing will follow established perinatal standards.The dress code consists of hospital-issued scrubs.A comprehensive training and orientation program will be provided based on the nurse's experience and expertise level.
