Job summary

Cynet Health in Oregon seeks an RN - L&D to provide labor and delivery and MedSurg care at a small critical access hospital. This 13-week assignment is primarily night shift with 12-hour shifts, requiring a minimum of 2 years' RN experience and an active license.

ACLS, BLS, NLP, and intermediate fetal monitoring are listed; telemetry and pediatric experience are preferred. The role includes MedSurg care with OB responsibilities as needed, two-nurse coverage during delivery when possible, and EMR

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years.

• Telemtry experience and Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for MedSurg patients and transition OB cases to the appropriate floor.
• Be capable of handling Labor and Delivery responsibilities.
• Two nurses on the floor during delivery preferred when possible.
• Night shifts; some day shift flexibility.

Description:This position will primarily involve MedSurg, but the candidate must also be capable of handling Labor and Delivery responsibilities.Registered Nurses will care for MedSurg patients but will transition patients to the appropriate floor if any OB cases arise.It is preferred to have two nurses available on the floor during delivery.The position will mainly consist of night shifts, with some flexibility for day shifts.This is a small critical access hospital, so staff members will work with various patient types.Shifts are scheduled for 12 hours.The facility is very traveler-friendly.Experience in telemetry is preferred but not mandatory.Familiarity with Pediatric patient care is advantageous.Training will be provided for the Electronic Medical Record system.There is no cancellation policy in place.
