Mercy is seeking a dedicated RN to join our Obstetrics and Mother Baby teams on the night shift. The position is full‑time, 36 hours per week, in a high‑tempo environment that includes Labor & Birth, Antepartum, and OB Emergency Department care.

Responsibilities include maintaining essential competencies, floating between departments as needed, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide outstanding patient care. Mercy offers robust benefits and career growth opportunities.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Mansioni

• Provide care in Obstetrics, Well Newborn, and related units.
• Maintain competencies in Labor & Birth, Antepartum, and OB Emergency Department; float as needed.

Find your calling at Mercy!Position Details:Nights, Full Time, 36 hours per WeekMercy Hospital - W Memorial RdOB Emergency DepartmentOverview:We are high-paced, high-energy unit specializing in Obstetrics and Mother Baby, Well Newborn Care along Post Women’s Surgical unit. Within our unit we have:40-MB rooms,15-LDR rooms,14-High Risk Antepartum,8-bed OBED unit,4-LIBC Birthing Suites, and4-Pre Post Rooms 3-OR suites (where we circulate all of our own cases). We also have Full time Lactation Consultants who see both inpatient and outpatients. Mercy OKC is the leading delivering hospital in Oklahoma City and second leading in the Ministry. Our teams offer a comprehensive suite of services at the Love Family Women's Center.Nurses are expected to maintain competencies in Labor & Birth, Antepartum, and OB Emergency Department, and may be assigned to float between these departments based on patient care needs.

Qualifications:Education

: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing programLicensure

: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.Physical requirements/demands

: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform dutiesCertifications

: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. One or more certifications may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.
