Qualifications

• RN must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed in New Jersey.
• Experience in nursing with supervisory background in long-term care required.
• Solid knowledge of nursing theory, techniques, and practices; strong leadership.

Responsibilities

• Verifies daily staffing and redistribution as needed.
• Collaborates with charge nurses to coordinate resident care and inform other departments.
• Performs rounds to assess resident condition, focusing on critical cases.
• Ensures nursing care plans are followed and oversees medication passes.
• Participates in quality improvement and ensures a safe, sanitary environment.
• Responds to emergencies and trains staff as needed.
