Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in this state.
• Must be certified with a current CPR card.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Make rounds and identify problems; initiate intervention and follow-up.
• Assess residents and monitor vital signs; notify physician of changes.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate the care plan.
• Initiate emergency measures per facility policies and nursing practices.
• Coordinate with other disciplines during admissions and changes to care plans.
• Supervise and direct LVN and RN Charge Nurse in providing care.
