Job summary

US Skilled Serve is seeking an experienced RN Nursing Supervisor to oversee daily nursing operations in a California facility. You will supervise LVN and RN staff, ensure high-quality resident care, and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.

The role requires an active RN license, CPR certification, and strong leadership. You will engage in rounds, care planning, medication administration, and coordination with physicians and health-care teams to support residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in this state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience supervising LVN and RN Charge Nurse.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Proven leadership and ability to work with teams.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and regulations for care facilities.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff during shift and ensure resident care.
• Make rounds, assess residents, monitor vitals, and notify physician of changes.
• Develop and implement the plan of care and coordinate with MD/IDT.
• Administer medications as ordered and document care.
• Ensure infection control and safety policies are followed.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges.
• Provide wound care assessment and treatment when needed.
• Mentor and supervise LVN and RN staff.
