UAB Medicine is seeking a Nursing Education Specialist to assess and advance educational activities across nursing clinical areas. You will act as a strategic consultant to implement competency-based programs and evaluate clinical performance across the continuum of care.

The role collaborates with leaders and staff to identify educational needs, develop plans, and apply measurement tools to learning goals. Requires RN licensure in Alabama and a nursing diploma; BLS within 30 days of hire.

Formación

• BLS within 30 days of hire date required; accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing is required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing and professional licensure at time of hire required.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate educational activities related to nursing clinical areas across the continuum of care.
• Serve as a strategic consultant for nursing clinical performance initiatives to create, implement, and evaluate competency-based programs, delivery mechanisms, and clinical performance.
• Collaborate with leaders and staff to assess nursing educational needs and competencies.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing and clinical educational plans/programs; utilize methods and tools to evaluate learning goals.
• Consult on the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of NPD programs and performance processes that support core nursing and clinical competency.
