Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management seeks an experienced Nursing Services Administrator to oversee the nursing department, ensuring quality care in compliance with federal, state, and company standards. This role requires supervising 24-hour nursing operations and taking charge in the administrator's absence.

The candidate must hold an RN license in the state, possess an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing, and have substantial supervisory experience in long-term or acute care settings.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Five years of long-term or acute care experience preferred; at least 2 years in nursing supervision required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total care plans for each resident aligned with physician orders and facility policies.
• Communicate and interpret policies to nursing staff and monitor practices.
• Participate in admissions decisions and visit prospective residents.
• Attend daily and weekly management meetings to discuss resident status and concerns.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
