Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) to support administration and management of Nursing Services for residents, under physician orders and state regulations. You will supervise the Nursing Department with the Director of Nursing and assume clinical operations in their absence.

Responsibilities include coordinating care plans, interpreting policies, participating in admissions, and leading daily management discussions to ensure quality care and compliant

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Minimum five years in long-term or acute health care; at least two years in nursing supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total care plans per physician orders, regulations, and policies.
• Interpret and enforce nursing policies to staff; monitor practices.
• Participate in admissions decisions and visit prospective residents as needed.
• Lead daily/weekly management meetings addressing resident status, census, staff, and concerns.
• Ensure compassionate quality care with adequate staffing and clean environments.
