Qualifications

• Requires RN license in the practicing state.
• Associate or Bachelor degree from an accredited nursing school is required.
• Minimum five years in long-term or acute health care; at least 2 years supervisory nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates plans for total resident care aligned with physician orders, regulations, and policies.
• Communicates and interprets policies to nursing staff and monitors practices.
• Participates in admissions decisions and may visit prospective residents.
• Participates in daily/weekly management meetings addressing residents, census, personnel, or concerns.
• Ensures compassionate quality care with adequate staff coverage and clean, safe environments.
