Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a friendly and experienced Director of Nursing to ensure the highest level of care. The RN will oversee 24-hour nursing supervision, align with federal/state standards, and maintain a welcoming culture.

Strong team-building and leadership are essential. Responsibilities include managing nursing services, directing the Nursing Department, and ensuring quality standards in accordance with regulations and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state practiced.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited nursing school is required.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; at least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates total care plans for each resident in line with physician orders and policies.
• Interprets and communicates policies to nursing staff; monitors practices.
• Participates in admissions decisions and may visit prospective residents.
• Attends daily/weekly management meetings to review resident status and concerns.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
