Job summary

Medford Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking an experienced Nurse Administrator to lead nursing operations in a skilled nursing facility. You will develop and implement nursing policies, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

The role requires a MA RN license, CPR certification, and at least two years in a SNF with leadership experience.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Must possess a current MA license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and implement nursing policies and procedures in line with current standards and regulations.
Communicate policies to nursing staff and monitor adherence.
Participate in management team meetings to discuss resident status and census changes.
Perform rounds to ensure quality care, staffing and facility cleanliness.
supervise CNA certification program and oversee students.
Review daily reports to ensure timely responses to changes in condition and incidents.
Recruitment and scheduling of nursing personnel.
Deliver in-service education to staff to improve knowledge and care quality.
Assist in conflict resolution and enforce safety and OSHA compliance.
Establish infection control program and monitor surveillance reports.
Participate in QA Committee activities and survey preparedness.
