Job summary

Birmingham Green in Manassas, VA seeks an RN Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing care, ensure quality resident services, and uphold department policies on a part-time, evening shift (3 pm–11:30 pm). The role requires strong leadership and in-depth knowledge of long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, ensuring care plans are followed, and acting as the person in charge when management is unavailable.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered RN license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Five years of experience in a long-term care facility.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines for long-term care.
• Knowledge of nursing techniques and regulatory surveys.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of nursing care.
• Ensure residents receive identified care to meet their health care needs.
• Ensure nursing department policies and procedures are followed by staff.
• Be in charge of the entire facility in the absence of senior management.
