Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead a clinical unit focused on venous access and infusion therapy. You will assess patient needs, perform access procedures, administer treatments, and develop individualized care plans.

You will mentor staff, oversee quality initiatives, and ensure compliance with policies while maintaining patient safety and excellent care standards.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required
• Demonstrated leadership in a nursing unit
• Ability to manage patient care and staff performance

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope and ensure patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy and adjust care plans as needed.
• Assess patient conditions to select venous access methods and address complications.
• Develop individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy.
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor unit performance.
