AdventHealth Tampa is seeking an experienced RN leader to oversee venous access and infusion therapy services on the unit. You will mentor staff, lead quality improvement, and ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes staff development, performance feedback, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow and outcomes while maintaining compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Coordinate daily unit operations to ensure safe, effective patient care delivery.
• Monitor quality, safety, and patient experience metrics and implement improvements.
• Onboard, coach, and develop nursing staff to support growth and performance.
• Facilitate effective interdisciplinary collaboration to achieve patient care goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope and ensure patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Assess patients to determine venous access methods and address complications.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access and infusion therapy.
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy to ensure understanding.
• Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, conduct appraisals, and drive improvement.
