Job summary
Genesis, located in Fair Lawn, NJ, is seeking an RN with teaching credentials to lead and deliver a certified nursing assistant training program for our long-term care facility. You will monitor students in class and clinical rotations, and help implement orientation and mentoring for the CNA program.
The role requires a nursing degree with active RN licensure and relevant teaching experience with adults, along with BLS certification.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current registered nurse licensure.
- Minimum of two years full-time or equivalent clinical experience.
- Experience teaching adult students or supervising nurse aides.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, coordinate, implement and teach a CNA training program.
- Monitor and evaluate nursing assistant students in classroom and clinical rotations.
- Develop and implement nursing center orientation/mentoring for the CNA program.
- Round in patient/resident care areas to ensure quality CNA services.
