Genesis in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Nurse Educator to orient and educate nursing staff and ensure safe, effective care under facility guidelines.

The role reports to the Director of Nursing, develops education programs, supervises orientation, conducts competency testing, and supports Employee Health initiatives. Requires RN license and 3+ years clinical experience, with gerontology and adult learning training preferred. Includes comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN license.
• Excellence in clinical nursing skills required.
• Training and/or experience in adult learning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Orient and educate all nursing personnel and ensure safe, effective nursing care.
• Report to the Director of Nursing and develop education programs.
• Supervise orientation, conduct competency testing, and evaluate staff performance.
• Oversee Employee Health Program incl. TB/hepatitis vaccines and flu immunizations.
