Job summary

Manchester Memorial Hospital seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator to support professional development and competency management across nursing staff in the Greater Manchester region. The RN educator collaborates with nursing leadership to design, implement, and evaluate education programs aligned with ANA standards and LEAN principles.

The role supervises onboarding, orientation and ongoing practice advancement, fostering evidence-based practice and high reliability in patient care.

Qualifications

BSN
3 years clinical nursing experience
1 year acute care environment or ambulatory/ancillary
Experience as a preceptor

Responsibilities

Learning Facilitator: bridge knowledge, skills and practice gaps identified through learning needs assessment and outcomes evaluation.
Collaborative Partner: work with nursing leadership to assess needs, develop programs, monitor competency and support action plans.
Role Development: promote professional nursing practice and quality patient care according to ANA standards.
Mentor: contribute to professional development of others and ongoing learning across practice areas.
Competency Management: use tools to capture knowledge, skill, and performance.
Orientation: develop and evaluate onboarding programs during role changes.
