Job summary

Southern HealthCare Management seeks an experienced RN Staff Development Coordinator / Nurse Educator to lead training, orientation, and clinical education for our nursing staff at Raleigh Rehabilitation Center.

You will mentor nurses, coordinate competency evaluations, and maintain training records while aligning with quality improvement initiatives and regulatory requirements. This leadership role emphasizes building a strong culture and developing clinical teams on site in Raleigh, NC.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Prior staff development or nurse educator leadership preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Passion for staff development and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead orientation and onboarding for new nursing staff.
• Coordinate and conduct clinical education and in-service training.
• Provide hands-on skills training and competency evaluations.
• Mentor and support new nurses and nursing assistants.
• Maintain training records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support quality improvement and clinical excellence initiatives.
• Partner with nursing leadership to strengthen team performance and retention.
