Job summary

SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital Midwest is seeking a Regular, full-time Night Shift registered nurse for the Ministry Float Pool. The role provides direct nursing care according to established policies, procedures, and protocols, supporting patients and families across a float pool context.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program or education equivalency for licensing.
• One year RN experience.
• BLS HCP certification required per state.

Responsibilities

• Uses medical-surgical nursing practice to improve quality of care and quality of life for patient and family.
• Develops care plans using the nursing process and coordinates with interprofessional team.
• Educates patient and family about measures to promote health or comfort.
• Mentors nursing colleagues and fosters a safe, ethical, and compassionate care environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
