SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, IL is seeking a Regular RN for the Regional Float Pool. This night shift position delivers direct nursing care in accordance with policy and protocol.

The role requires 1 year RN experience (Ministry Float) or two years RN experience (Regional Float), plus BLS HCP and Missouri RN licensure (or compact state). Competitive hourly pay and sign-on bonus eligibility may be available.

Formación

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration or Compact State.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
• Establishes effective relationships and serves as an advocate with the patient, family, and significant other(s) to facilitate care plan development.
• Uses the nursing process to develop and implement the plan of care, collect assessment data, determine diagnoses and outcomes.
• Develops assessment and management strategies considering physical, cultural, social, economic, developmental, spiritual, vocational, and leisure dimensions.
• Coordinates with patient, family, communities, and interprofessional team to assess needs, set goals, plan interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
• Communicates effectively to support collaborative decision making with the patient and care team.
• Educates patient and family about measures to promote health and comfort.
• Mentors others and fosters a healthy work environment.
• Applies evidence-based practice to nursing care for age- and clinical-appropriate needs.
